Brigadier Oreeditse Sheriff Tsamaase is currently the Acting Director of Financial Resources Management at the Botswana Defense Force (BDF), and also holds the position of Deputy Director of Financial Resources Management, Defence Strategic Plan and Resources Plrogramming, both since 2013. He previously held the position of Director of Appropriated Funds, Finance Branch at the BFD HQ for a preiod of 4 years. He has held various positions within the Force Detachement Commander, Finance Branch BDF HQ, Straff Officer Training and Doctrine and ChiefAdministration Officer, Air Defence Unit, Air Arm.
Brigadier O Tsamaase acheived a Master's in Security and Strategic Studies from the National Defence College in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. He also holds an MBA from MANCOSA in Botswana. His Military qualifications include National Security and Strategic Studies, Air Force Command and Staff course, Combat Intelligence Cadre - 2, FTE. From 2005 to 2006 he was deployed as a Military Observer in Dafur and African Union Mission in Sudan.
He has earned prestigious medals and awrds including the Overall Best Student Academic Award at the NDC in Tanzania and is a member of the Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants.
